1: Getting really excited for something beyond logic or reason. This is from an extension of the wrestling fan phrase and has grown into the modern lexicon. It usually comes from something you enjoyed in your childhood that you still enjoy into adulthood without logical reason.

  * e.g.,  ... "Dude, I totally am marking out for the RUSH concert"

1: To temporarily forget that wrestling is fake because something cool happened.

  * e.g.,  ... I totally marked out when Hogan came back from that beat down!

1: somebody that doesn't want to fight.

  * e.g.,  ... ava pressed kayla and she marked out. 

 [ "mark out" ]

1: When you "mark out" you stand up for something or believe something completely. If you're a massive fan of a band and you refuse to let people critize them, you are marking out.

  * e.g.,  ...  Dude, you always mark out for crappy emo bands.

2: Believing something completely.

  * e.g.,  ...  Yeah, I totally marked out last night when Foley got thrown off the cage.

3: Comes from the wrestling term markwhere a smark forgets reading the spoilers, guessing the storylines and bitching about backstage and just feels the moment.

1: Quietly leaving a group activity on the early side without saying goodbye. Like an Irish Exit.

  * e.g.,  ... Hey man, did you Mark-out on us last night? You just disappeared - did you have to run to catch your canoe or something?

1:  Getting Exceptionally excited during wrestling for a certain wrestler or move

  * e.g.,  ...  I totally marked out when CM Punk won the title

2:  A term for Masturbating to a wrestler

  * e.g.,  ...  I was up late last night marking out to pictures of Mickie James

1: When you get really excited to do something, then last minute you back out.

  * e.g.,  ... Jon said he would come to the concert, he was talking about it all week. Last minute he "marked out". 

 [ "Mark Out" ]

1: To emulate an idol or icon, through purchase of their tools or equipment, or through imitatation of their style or appearance.

  * e.g.,  ... Greg is such a John Mayer fan, he is going to go to the music store and mark out on the John Mayer signature stratocaster.  

 [ "marks out of two" ]

1: To rate a girl with your mates who is in earshot but without her knowing. Taken from the statement "I'd give her one!" or two meaning "I wouldn't touch her with yours!"

  * e.g.,  ... Dan: "Marks out of two?" 

 [ "Question Marked Out" ]

1: When your internet browser doesn't load properly and several-if not all-pictures are replaced with a mini question mark.

  * e.g.,  ... I want to go on Facebook right now but everything is question marked out.
